Let’s Create A World Without Breast Cancer
How can you help end breast cancer as a fatal illness? Are you interested in writing elected officials, researching, speaking to groups, or donating? Whether young or old, experienced or not, join one of our teams!
Organizing Team - The more people the more power we have to accomplish a world without breast cancer. If you are social media savvy, good at organizing groups, or interested in funding our efforts, join us below.
Story Telling Team -Stories have power. If your breast cancer was caught, late, share your story. If you lost a loved one to breast cancer, share your story. We would like to know your story to share with policy makers, in person or in writing. The human impact of inaction needs to be felt by the leaders so they understand that every day they do not act, another estimated 118 lives are lost in our nation and what that means to a family, friends, to a community. If you want to share your story, please join us. We wantto know why you want to erase breast cancer now and what it will mean to you, your family, your world. Our early detection team needs your story if you could not afford early screening or your cancer was missed.
Health Team - Knowledge is power. Did you know the more you walk, the healthier you eat, and the more sleep you get the less likely you are to get cancer? We want every woman and person to be as healthy as possible. Join us to research how nutrition and exercise reduce cancer risks, write online or speak in person about ways woman can take control of their own health.
We Can Save Lives by Making Breast Cancer a National Priority
If the government acts with legislation and funding, vaccines and immunology can be developed faster. Early detection can be the affordable right of every woman.
Just as the "me too" movement legitimized an evil that women experience and finally brought about action, it is time for a "me too" women's health movement that insists on acting so that breast cancer will no longer be set aside or treated as another unnecessary evil that women must endure.
